How much can an owner make?

An owner can expect their property to make similar to what it would as an unfurnished rental. But as there are no tenants, the beauty of our method for sale is that access is easy, the place is professionally styled and it is kept clean - all this and we still make you a profit!

When can I have open homes?

Convenient dates can be blocked out in advance for open homes and inspections, and between 10am and 3pm on guest changeover days.

What does STR mean?

STR stands for Short Term Rental accommodation. It's the generic name for holiday accommodation or rentals that last from a few days to a few weeks.

How does the cleaning work?

Every time a guest leaves, the property is reset, cleaned and ready for inspections and new guests.  Your property comes to us cleaned ready for sale. The ongoing Airbnb cleaning fee is automatically charged to the guest each stay.

How much will it cost an owner?

Nothing! There are no upfront fees. In fact, owners won't need to pay us anything because once the property begins generating income we will be profit sharing with you, the owner.

Will my property be suitable?

We do a site or virtual visit first to inspect to see that the property is suitable to take guests. Our method is particularly exciting for owners whose property is already their investment and they are set up and ready to receive more income from it. 

Is Style n Stay a property manager?

In short, no. We are granted permission from the owner to use their property as an STR. We then create a written agreement to split our profits with the owner.

What if the property is currently tenanted?

We can only take on properties that are untenanted. Owners need to check the lease paperwork and the State/Territory's Residential Tenancies Act to find out their options for reclaiming the property back when wishing to sell. Once empty, we can take over from there. 

What makes Style n Stay different property stylists?

Most property stylists advocate for properties to be unlived in for staging and selling. We disagree! Owners can have their properties professionally staged AND continue to have it generate consistent income, with the added bonus of no out-of-pocket expenses to owners. 

Is Airbnb a safe option for my property?

Yes. We have found that hosting guests is very enjoyable. At Style n Stay we implement ways to manage listings that entice guests with high ratings.  Airbnb also has its own insurance called Aircover that covers Hosts. Of course, as with any property for rent, there is always an element of risk and we advise speaking with your insurer as well for your peace of mind.
